What Is Personal/Business Coaching?

Coaching is a learning process -- based on your expressed interests, goals and objectives.  It is not counseling, therapy or consulting.

Similar to athletic coaching, personal/business coaching is about assisting--but never leading or doing more than--the client. Our coaches may teach you specific insights and skills to empower you in achieving your intentions. However, whenever you work with a coach, you are ultimately responsible for your own achievements and success. You get out of the sessions what you are willing to put in.

Coaching serves 3 very important purposes:

  • It clarifies your next step
  • It aligns your actions with your soul's purpose, and
  • It helps you to surrender to what 'is' and to move through life with ease and grace

Working with a coach will help you at any of these stages, whether you are someone who struggles with clarity, or you know what you want but you tend to procrastinate, or whether you might be the type of person who pushes through even when all of the signs and signals are suggesting otherwise.

Having a coach on your side is one of the best investments you can make in your continued success and to ensure that you are living "life on purpose".

Your relationship with your Coach

Like all relationships, the coach-client relationship requires both commitment and compatibility to yield positive results. Coaches vary in their approaches and areas of expertise, therefore it is important for you select a compatible coach – who shares your values and compliments your individual style.
